  7. WBStars V.9 preview.
  8.  
  9. This program plots some stars in the background
  10. of the Workbench-Screen, to make it look like a
  11. window of a starship flying with warp-speed.
  12. Of course these stars are animated (it´s not only
  13. a background-pattern ;) .
  14. It is only a preview, so there are some important
  15. things missing, that will be done soon:
  16.  
  17. - preferences file ( to change number, speed and direction
  18.     of the stars)
  19. - no background-erasing 
  20. - rewritten star-calculation (original ST spectrum-effect)
  21. - writing some documentation
  22. - preferences editor (with ST-TNG GUI as in the IFF-picture)
  23. - speed increase
  24. - GURU-safeness (perhaps... ;)

  27. How to start this preview:
  28.  
  29. - save every important data in your memory to disk, to prevent the loss of data !
  30. - Activate the `backdrop' option of the Workbench !
  31. - Select pen # 2 as background color or you can´t see anything!
  32.     (you may use the included `wbpattern.pre' with the SYS:Prefs/WBPattern program)
  33. - Use a MagicWB-like palette-preferences
  34.     (as the included `palette.pre')
  35.     (may also look very interesting if you don´t :)
  36. - Start WBStars by doubleclicking, typing `WBStars' in a CLI,
  37.     or copying it into SYS:WBStartup and rebooting
  38. - enjoy.. ;)

  40. To end this program you should use the program `Exchange' as described
  41. in your Amiga-manuals.

  43. IMPORTANT !!! If you close the Workbench window while WBStars is running,
  44. you can´t terminate it anymore, and you may cause a GURU !!!
  45. The Workbench window is closed (and reopened) too, if you deactivate
  46. the `backdrop' option, or if you change the preferences of the WB-Screen!
